Due to the corona virus, many high school students were left with only a few summer opportunities to choose from. My school recognized this obstacle and created a summer passion project opportunity for students. I decided to participate in the opportunity because I wanted to research and learn more about the Black Lives Matter movement, which had been growing on social media and the news. Instead of creating a blog that only focused on the Black Lives Matter movement, I decided to include other problems that I believe need attention as well. In no way do I know everything there is to blogging or advocacy and I am definitely not a professional. However, as a young teen with strong ideas and opinions on issues in the world, I think it's important for me to use my voice and share my thoughts with others. I hope to amplify awareness on the issues posted and others voices through this blog!
